Subject: DAVECON 2002 Trip Report #9634 From: westerner99@hotmail.com (westerner99) Date: 24 Jun 2002 14:05:50 -0700 Newsgroups: alt.fan.letterman I left on a plane from Hawaii early Wednesday afternoon and arrived in NYC on Thursday morning...from there it was all hazy...I've been told I met up with everyone at the Broadway Chili Club and that I was charming and amusing (ok, I made that last line up)...I have a crush on a woman named Jennifer...I was told that I sat in the front row with Rona right in front of Paul...I was told we met up with Tony and Mike Mack and were given a great tour with pictures...I vaguely remember hearing: "Don't touch that" and "Put that down"...I was told we ate at Martini's and that Tony and Mike made an appearance there while Eddie Brill enjoyed a meal...I was told I got on a train that night and took an overnighter down to DC...followed by a hazy weekend there, I flew back to Maui on Sunday. The remnants of the weekend: Donz CD, DaveCon button and T-shirt, Mike Mack mention of group in Wahoo, proof that I was there on TMS, the billboard cue card of that show, candy marks from the candy necklace string around my neck, and Maria Pope's Poland Springs half-empty bottle. Maybe I was there after all. Thank you to Tony and Mike for their time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (As an aside, total time spent in transit this weekend: 39 hours--planes, trains, cabs, and driving; and total time spent not in transit: 39 hours) "Something from the meat case, Linda?"
