I LOVE AFLers. They are my people. They're not like the co-workers at the
Christmas party, the people you're seated with at a boring wedding reception
or the neighbors you play Pictionary with, they are REALLY fun to be around!
A couple of highlights for me were...
1. Telling Rupert about the ugly underside of his counter. How long will it
take to be painted? Please, no wagering.
2. The Military Top Ten Laughathon during the show. I forced out such a
laugh at each entry that I became hysterical that my laugh sounded so
unnatural. Karen managed a sideways glance in front of me, probably
wondering if I was going to make it.
3. Dave Sikula's great laugh made me laugh at dinner and I horked a piece of
steak into my lung. Then, I was promptly given a cell phone to talk to Tom.
I think I probably sounded like Donz.
4. I had a wallet in my pocket and I was just happy to see Carl.
5. I caught Traci looking and Chad can confirm this. (Thanks, Victoria.
It'll be our secret.)
Thanks to everyone who made this happen. It was a great time, as always.
