But what about that guy?

My second time at the desk, and a much better picture this year (not as much blinding glare on my glasses this time).

The cue-card stud himself, Tony Mendez

Mr. Wahoo Gazette, Mike McIntee

Alan Kalter's station. I had a nice view of Alan during the show, and was hoping for an "Alan Kalter Freaks Out" Mailbag letter. No such luck, but we did have Dominic and Harold's letter, where they stood with baseball bats over by the Bill Murray doors, at the other end of my row.

The band area. Not sure who that guy is.

The Will It Float tank.

I always thought the stairs were primarily decorative, but I saw someone from the crew come down the stairs before the show started.

Backstage.

Cue card alley. Tony said Dave used to rehearse the monologue back there (he doesn't rehearse anymore, not since the heart surgery). Yes, that's a dead bird lying on the ground.

I love seeing the set in person. It's a lot more three dimensional than it looks on TV, and has zillions of little sparkly things all over it.

They've turned off all the houselights by now, and locked up the doors.
