Anderson families. This book contains much genealogical
information on the Dresser lines that settled mostly in MN and

- Dresser Family - Twelve Generations in America
(1638-1976), by Frederick T. Boyd,
Ph D, 1977. This book
contains genealogies on several Dresser lines from 1638 to the
1970s. Most other lines do branch off one of those listed. Out of
print and hard to find. My copy was donated by James K. Dresser
of RI, the nephew of Frederick T. Boyd, it's author.

This book contains the genealogy of one direct line (the authors' line), beginning with John Dresser, the immigrant, down through descendants John Jr, John III, Nathan, Jonathan Sr, Jonathan Jr to John Foster Dresser who settled in Richmond, Quebec, Canada.
- Index to Births in Massachusetts 1841 - 1895. I have a copy of the pages that contain all the Dresser births. However, all these are now in my database.
- Maine Cemetery Inscriptions. I have a list of Dresser inscriptions for cemeteries located in Buxton and Kennebunk, ME.
- The DAR PAtriot Index. I have copies of the pages that include all the Dressers who served in the military during the Revoluntionary War, which includes their birth & death dates and spouses' names.
- Rowley, MA, Mr Ezechi Rogers Plantation 1639-1850, by Amos E. Jewett & Emily M. Jewett, 1946. The history and background information on Rev Rogers and his followers who emigrated from England in 1639 and settled in Rowley, MA. Includes historical information on the original Dressers, John & Mary, and many of their descendants. Mostly individual histories, but no prepared genealogies. This book is available for sale.
