NullShell is an introductory tool for learning the basics of programming null models for community ecology analysis in the Windows 95 (or later) operating environment. NullShell is based on the popular FREE EcoSim software which allows users to analyze many different null models.

If you want to learn more about programming your own null models, download NullShell1.exe. This self-extracting .exe file contains the Delphi project and Pascal source code files for NullShell. Any version of Borland Delphi 7.0 or later, including Borland's Personal version of Delphi, should compile this project.
NEW! NullShell Version 1.1, updated: July 13, 2004) includes Delphi source code for the NullShell user interface and a basic regression model. Feel free to use these as a basis for your own null model development.
