FOR THE BASKING

There is something so delicious
When you're lying in the sun
With your body nude and open to its rays,
And you won't become ambitious
     Til your pleasuring is done
And all other things can wait for other days

And then, lazily, you ponder
     The refreshment of the pool
Where the water waits to welcome you within
So, contentedly, you wander
From the warmness to the cool
With no bathing suit to keep it from your skin

Then, your ecstasy completed,
     You receive the sun again
And once more lie down to bask away the day,
As a nudist, richly treated,
     In your clothing-free domain,
To the best of all that nature sends our way
