Take advantage of this great backpacking and camping opportunity! Snowmobile trails link our communities in the winter months, and thousands of acres of national forestlands are available for outdoor recreation. Hunters will find our region exciting and challenging. White-tail deer, bear, moose and turkey abound. Great fishing can be found on many of our lakes and streams. The skiing is excellent. The resorts include Stowe, Killington, Okemo, Smugglers Notch, Mad River Glen, and Pico. |
