Star Child cont.

She’s a star child, she’s one of us, she’s space dust. She’s a star child, living hard, in a hard country...

And all I want to do is make it better for her, 'cause I know, that she's going through some rough times.

Rough times, that she doesn't deserve. And pain and pleasure are funny things, as are broken hearts...

And I know how hard it is to say some things, some things that should and should not be said...

Things that can make it better and worse at the same time, things that get spoken from the heart...

It's a wide and jumbled world, this is true...and one's Ka-tet, is all there really is...

We are star children, she and I, and the rest of us. We are space dust, and it's gonna be okay.

So we have memories, and feelings, and information, as we play it by ear, and try to make our way.

And there's still trust to hold onto, as we peer through blurry eyes, but this silence: it's more than deafening...
